This is for Kak Cik who turns 3yo today! (13th April 2008)

We had two people in our family who shares same birthday in the month of April, that’s ayah and kak cik. Ayah birthday falls on the 22^nd while Kak cik’s on the 13^th of the month. Still remembers those days when umi was carrying Kak Cik, being the third experience Umi adopted those ‘take it easy’ style all through the 81/2months of growing her inside me, in fact she’s the lightest among the sisters! Having her is such a dramatic situation. Had been admitted into Putrajaya Hosp two weeks earlier before due date because of very low water level as claimed by Dr Kamsiah of Az Zahrah Bangi, umi had a very restless sleep the night before she was born. Of course there’s the contractions but very mild and it is so frequent that umi had got immune with it haha..

Then on that bright, sunny morning, ayah came around 8am anxiously asking if umi had the feelings for labor. Seems like everybody is getting impatience with the waiting. Asked ayah hows the two girls were doing back home left with Mak and Bibik Idah, ayah said they were fine. Just kept on asking when umi will be back with their lil sister..yes, both of them still wanted another sister, they said baby girl is cuter than the boys..haha..after had my breakfast (thanks to ayah for just being around, luv u!), umi insists ayah to go and get the groceries for the girls as umi’s instinct say its not time yet. Ayah make umi promised to cling on the cell all time so that he’ll get to be updated. Half an hour after ayah had just left, umi got that terrible back pain..macam nak tercabut pinggang rasanya. Umi decided to go and look for the nurse instead of using the calling button as the nurse counter is just next to umi’s room. Umi figure out that walking around should benefit the delivery process also, right. As soon as they saw umi walking towards them in such agonize, one of them direct umi to the checking room. Few minutes later a lady doctor came and she was so surprised to find that umi already was 6cm dilated. She quickly instruct to get umi to the labor room which is on a different floor! While the nurses chaotically pushed the trolley into the lift, umi was so glad that umi did cling to the cell as ayah requested. So, during the lapse time when umi not in pain, umi got to call ayah and told him that we are on the way to the labor room. The nurses did asked where’s the baby father, and when umi told them he’s at Alamanda buying some fishes, they just giggles..hehe..Around 10mnts after the call, ayah arrived just in time to hold umi’s hand and with the third push, Nur Aina Nadirah was born at 11:45am, 13^th April 2005 with only 2.5kg. Welcome to outside world my sweet lil child, may you grow to become anak solehah and happiness will always be with you, amin.
